Which statement about indirect taxes is correct?
In the lecture, this is where you pause the video and answer.
The seller collects an indirect tax; the consumer bears it. It ignores ability to pay, so rich and poor bear it equally. A, B and D all describe a direct tax.

CA Vivek Kumar
Chartered Accountant · Applies GST inside a large, multi-state enterprise
GST is part of my day job: invoices, ITC reconciliations, returns and departmental queries. So every lecture starts from a situation you’d meet at work, then takes you to the section, the rule and the way ICAI asks it.
I was a rank holder in CA CPT and cleared CA in the first attempt. I teach GST the way I use it: from real transactions and real compliance, not just theory.
